Both presidents asserted at the press conference that they had a “fruitful and constructive” meeting which reflected their shared political desire to promote bilateral relations and push them toward broader horizons.
“This will contribute to leveraging the capabilities of our two countries and serving the interests of our peoples. We concurred on the critical need to forge closer cooperation across diverse fields, notably in the political, economic and investments sectors, and to bolster joint efforts to further advance relations, in a manner befitting their profound historical significance,” Sisi said.
Committed to enhancing bilateral relations, a number of Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs, were signed in the domains of communications and information technology, as well as housing and infrastructure, he further said. This shall contribute to the consolidation of frameworks of cooperation in these sectors, he added.
“I confirmed to His Excellency, the President of Angola, Egypt’s preparedness to provide all forms of support and assistance to our brothers in Angola, notably in the areas of development and capacity-building in a multitude of areas, including police, defense, healthcare, the media, tourism, agriculture, anti-corruption efforts, renewable energy, and diplomacy as well as supporting the development of state institutions,” President Sisi said.
