CAIRO, April 23 (MENA) – Forbes Middle East named Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbiny among the top 10 government officials shaping the real estate sector in the region.
According to the magazine, el Sherbiny was appointed in July 2024. In February 2025, the ministry launched the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, offering over 5,000 housing units in new cities to Egyptians living abroad.
In March, the New Urban Communities Authority signed an MoU with the Future of Egypt Authority to establish a new company, Modon, to manage and operate buildings and urban infrastructure.
The minister was selected as one of the top 10 government officials for his role in supporting investors, developers, and expanding integrated housing solutions that serve different income groups. (MENA)
