CAIRO, April 16 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty had a phone call with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al Safadi on Wednesday.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tamim Khalaf said Abdelatty condemned in the strongest possible terms terrorist schemes against the security and stability of Jordan.

The foreign minister said that Egypt stands shoulder to shoulder with Jordan in the face of all forms of terrorism and extremist groups.

The two ministers discussed efforts aimed at stabilizing the Gaza ceasefire and also tackled the developments in the West Bank in the aftermath of the repeated Israeli aggressions on Palestinian towns and cities, confiscation of Palestinian lands, and settlement activities.

Both Abbelatty and Safadi discussed the outcome of the meetings of the ministerial committee formed during the Arab-Islamic summit and coming steps to be taken with effective international partners. (MENA)
