CAIRO, April 9 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty lauded on Wednesday the progress witnessed in Egyptian-Irish relations.

He underlined the importance of building on the outcome of the successful presidential visit to Ireland in December, 2024 and maintain mutual visits to continue working for enhancing cooperation.

Abdelatty made the remarks during his meeting with Irish Minister of State for Migration Colm Brophy on the sidelines of the ministerial conference of Khartoum Process.

He expressed hope of signing a memo of understanding in the vocational training and employment domains that would allow the travel of skilled Egyptian workers to Ireland.

He expounded efforts by Egypt to fight human trafficking and illegal migration. (MENA)
