AL ARISH, April 8 (MENA) - French President Emmanuel Macron said that the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza is an urgent priority, adding that his talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II tackled efforts to reach a ceasefire and release hostages.
Speaking from Arish, he condemned Israeli attacks on medical teams and called for full protection of aid workers.
Macron added that France has sent 1,200 tons of aid by air and sea, but stressed that secure conditions are needed to ensure proper distribution.
He added that recognizing a Palestinian state must come through a political agreement with Israel and requires a government capable of managing the situation. (MENA)
