CAIRO, April 8 (MENA) – Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of Mansour Group and former Minister of Transport, announced a $150 million investment to establish a new electric vehicle plant in Egypt. The project is expected to create 10,000 jobs.
The announcement came during the 2025 Egypt Narrative PR Summit, held in the Red Sea Governorate under the theme “Egypt Reset.” The summit gathered ministers, local and international experts, and private sector leaders.
Mansour said Egypt offers strong investment potential across sectors, including clean energy, technology, infrastructure, and real estate. He called on the private sector to contribute actively to national development with a clear vision and commitment to social responsibility.
He described Egypt as being at a defining moment in its modern journey, noting the upcoming opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum as a symbol of cultural and national renewal.
Mansour also spoke about the Right to Dream youth academy, launched in Egypt in 2021, which combines education with football training for talented youth.
The academy operates in 23 governorates and aims to discover and empower youth aged 10–18.
CEO Mohamed Wasfy said that the academy prepares young talent for global opportunities in both sports and education, promoting a model of development grounded in discipline and identity. (MENA)
