CAIRO, April 7 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed, during the Egyptian-French Business Forum held here on Monday, Egypt's desire to use French knowledge and attract French investment.

During the forum's closing session, the Egyptian president referred to recent infrastructure improvements, economic changes, free trade deals, and a large, young workforce (60% are under 40) as reasons why Egypt is a good place to invest in.

The forum, attended by President Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, hosted senior representatives of many Egyptian and French companies in areas such as healthcare, energy, AI, and technology with the aim to improve partnerships between France and Egypt, Presidency Spokesman Mohamed el Shennawy said.

Sisi thanked Macron for his support and emphasized the need to build local industries in Egypt. He promised to eliminate problems faced by French investors to improve relations between the two countries, according to Shennawy. (MENA)
