CAIRO, April 7 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi receives at Ittihadia Palace Monday French President Emmanuel Macron.

Presidential spokesman Mohamed el Shennawi said the two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting to be followed by a session of plenary talks between the two countries' delegations.

A number of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) will be signed following the talks in the presence of the two leaders who will hold a press conference, said the spokesman.

A tripartite summit will be held between President Sisi, Macron and King Abdullah of Jordan after the end of the Egyptian-French summit, said the spokesman, adding the three-way summit aims at discussing conditions in the region including the developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Macron arrived in Cairo Sunday on a three-day official visit to Egypt. (MENA)
