CAIRO, April 6 (MENA) - French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Cairo on Sunday at the beginning of a three-day visit to Egypt.

In a post on his official X account upon his arrival, Macron said "Egyptian Rafales, a strong symbol of our strategic cooperation."

During his visit, Macron is set to hold talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The French president is scheduled to visit Cairo University and the Grand Egyptian Museum. He will also witness the signing of some cooperation agreements between Egypt and France.

Macron will also pay a visit to Al Arish city. (MENA)
