CAIRO, March 26 (MENA) - Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. General Ahmed Khalifa shared on Wednesday an Iftar meal with a number of Border Guard troops as part of the Armed Forces General Command's keenness on maintaining communication with army men and following up on their training operations.
Khalifa reiterated the Armed Forces' keenness on providing all support to army units and formations to hone their combat capabilities and enable them carry out their tasks in an efficient way.
He lauded the outstanding performance of Border Guard forces in safeguarding national security and protecting the country's borders on all fronts.
Khalifa recently joined armored corps personnel for Iftar meal during which he underlined the importance of combat training programs and the adoption of advanced military training systems to keep pace with modern military standards. (MENA)
