CAIRO, March 26 (MENA) - Foreign and Emigration Minister Badr Abdelatty on Wednesday discussed over the phone with Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Hussein Al-Sheikh the dangerous conditions in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

During the phone call, the secretary of PLO's executive committee briefed the foreign minister on the severe deterioration in Gaza and the West Bank due to Israel's inhuman practices and continued violations against the Palestinian people.

For his part, Abdelatty reviewed contacts made by Egypt, in cooperation with Qatar, to halt Israeli attacks, maintain the ceasefire agreement, and hold negotiations for the second stage of the Gaza ceasefire deal. (MENA)
