CAIRO, March 25 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez have strongly rejected current Israeli military attacks in the Gaza Strip.

The president received a phone call from Sanchez on Tuesday, as they underlined the need to cease fire immediately, end Israeli land operations and deliver humanitarian aid into the war-ravaged Palestinian enclave.

They agreed that the two-state solution is the only guarantee to achieve security and stability for the peoples of the Middle East region.

Both sides reviewed regional developments, including the situation in Syria and Lebanon as well as the reconstruction of Gaza, Presidential Spokesman Mohammed El Shennawy said.

President Sisi expressed rejection for the forced displacement of the Palestinians.

The pair lauded the special relationship between Egypt and Spain, calling for fostering bilateral cooperation in different fields. (MENA)
