CAIRO, March 24 (MENA) - Mozambican Minister of Interior Paulo Chachine praised the deeply-rooted relations with Egypt.

During a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Maputo Mohamed Farghal, the minister discussed ways to enhance security cooperation between the two countries, according to a press release issued Monday.

He highlighted the significance of training courses Egypt provides to Mozambique in security-related fields.

He also expressed his eagerness to benefit from Egypt’s expertise in strengthening security capabilities and combating terrorism and organized crime in Mozambique.

Farghal reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to supporting the development of Mozambique’s security skills, noting that Egypt offers numerous specialized training courses and has future plans to introduce additional programs aimed at enhancing the readiness and efficiency of the Mozambican police force.
