RAMALLAH, March 20 (MENA) - At least 95 Palestinian citizens were killed and several others were wounded including critical injuries Thursday as a result of Israeli airstrikes and gunfire in several districts of the Gaza Strip, reported the Palestinian News Agency Wafa.

As many as 133 injured individuals have been transported to hospitals in Gaza following recent massacres committed by Israeli occupation forces against innocent civilians, Medical sources said.

Israel unilaterally ended the ceasefire agreement on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children.

The death toll reached 436 with 678 others wounded, according to medical sources, adding that emergency teams are attempting to recover victims still trapped beneath the rubble.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 48,572 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 112,032 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

In the West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli settlers stormed the archeological site of Sebastia.

Sebastia Mayor Mohammad Azzem said the settlers forced their way into the site under the protection of the Israeli military, that declared the site off-limit for Palestinians.

He added that a large unit of Israeli soldiers raided the town and proceeded to close the site, preventing Palestinians from accessing it. (MENA)
