CAIRO, March 19 ,(MENA) President Abdel Fatah El Sisi has directed the government to to adopt transparent and impartial measures in accepting the applications of the beneficiaries of the Digilians initiative to enable the beneficiaries to join the needed job markets.
The president's directives were made during a meeting Wednesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat and head of the Egyptian Military Academy Ashraf Zaher.
Presidential spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy said the initiative aims at training and grooming youth in the information technology domains to boost digital exports and support the national economy.
The minister of communication explained during the meeting the details of the initiative especially in the information technology, software, artificial intelligence, cyber security and digital designing, he said, adding that a platform will be launched to receive the applications after Eidulfir.
The initiative comes within the vision of Digital Egypt and in light of the constant emphasis of the President of the Republic on the importance of building the Egyptian human, and in alignment with the great attention given by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to developing the ICT sector and building highly specialized and professional cadres, MCIT launched an initiative in this regard.
