RAMALLAH, March 18 (MENA) - The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) condemned the resumption of Israel's systematic war against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, stressing the need to hold it accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a statement Tuesday Fatah said, the new crime demonstrates Israeli intention to implement displacement plans and liquidate the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that Israeli schemes would not be realized.

The Israeli occupation's settlement policies against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip constitutes an apparent disregard for all efforts aimed at stopping the war and rebuilding Gaza, as well as a blatant violation of International Law and continuation of shameful serious of Israeli massacres against Palestinians.

For his part, the Director of Public Relations and Media at the Gaza Electricity Company Mohamed Thabet, warned in a televised statement of repercussions of ongoing electricity crisis in Gaza, stressing that the health system faces unprecedented challenges in meeting emergency needs with ongoing aggression and complete power outage in the Strip.

The Palestinian official said some hospitals are not operating at full capacity and are unable to accommodate the increasing number of patients and wounded following the closure of some departments that rely entirely on electricity.
He explained that more than 70% of the electricity distribution networks have been completely destroyed, in addition to the shutdown of more than 90% of the electricity distribution company's warehouses and stores as a result of the ongoing and systematic aggression on the Strip.

Thabet pointed out that losses of the electricity distribution sector in Gaza, as a preliminary estimate, amounted to dlrs 450 million. (MENA)
