President Sisi stated that the rapid spread of information through social media requires careful management to reduce its risks.

Speaking to the Police Academy-hosted gathering of cadets and their families, said that Egypt replaced 48 traditional prisons with seven modern rehabilitation centers, transferring the former sites to the Ministry of Finance to balance the costs of the new facilities.

He stressed that reform and development are being carried out in a structured manner without disruption, dismissing claims about dismantling institutions like the Interior Ministry.

Sisi described the police force’s role as essential in protecting 120 million people living on Egyptian soil, including Egyptians and foreign residents.

The President warned against misleading information on social media, stating that false narratives are designed to create dissatisfaction with state institutions.

He recalled the security vacuum from 2011 to 2014, noting that the absence of law enforcement had serious consequences. He said the events of that period made people more aware of the value of the police force.

The President reaffirmed that Egypt guarantees equal rights for all citizens, regardless of religion, or ethnicity.

Concluding his remarks, Sisi reassured citizens that Egypt remains stable despite global and regional challenges, affirming, "By God's grace and the strength of the Egyptian people, we are safe and on the right path." (MENA)
