CAIRO, March 3 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador in Rabat Ahmed Nihad Abdel-Latif and Morocco's Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget and President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) Faouzi Lekjaa reviewed Monday Egyptian companies' participation in infrastructure projects under in Morocco in preparation for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
During a meeting with the Moroccan official, Abdel-Latif shed light on the companies' extensive experience in executing major projects in Egypt and many Arab and African countries.
He also highlighted Egypt's infrastructure achievements over the past decade, congratulating Lekjaa on Morocco's hosting the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2025, and co-hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup, along with Spain and Portugal.
Applauding the sports infrastructure in Morocco, Abdel-Latif affirmed Egypt's support for Morocco's hosting of the major sports events.
Meanwhile, the Moroccan official welcomed greater cooperation with Egypt on ongoing preparations for Morocco's hosting of the mega sports events.
Lekjaa also hailed distinguished relations between the FRMF and the Egyptian Football Association. (MENA)
