SUEZ, Feb 27 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli attended the inauguration of Abdos FMCG factory for chemical cosmetics manufacturing during a tour of Ain Sokhna Integrated Industrial Zone of the Suez Canal Economic Zone on Thursday.
The premier made an inspection tour of the factory and was posted on the different production phases in the industrial establishment.
The tour also included the final product stage. He watched samples of final products of the factory that will be exported to a number of countries.
The premier listened to an explanation from Siddhant Agarwal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, who lauded Egypt's great potentials to drive growth rates in various sectors during the coming period, pointing out that 60 percent of the factory's first phase depends on local components while the second phase is under construction and will be inaugurated next June.
The factory is built on an area of 50,000 square meters, with a total investment cost of 30 million dollars and an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons. It provides 350 direct and indirect job opportunities.
The construction of the project took 10 months from December 2023 to October 2024. (MENA)
