CAIRO, Feb 24 (MENA) - A security source has dismissed claims circulating on media platforms affiliated with the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group, which featured a video in which an individual accused a police officer from the Dakahlia Police Station of storming his house, assaulting his family, and making unwarranted arrests.
On Monday, the security source clarified that the incident in question occurred on February 20, when law enforcement from the Dakahlia Police Station conducted a raid to arrest individuals wanted for crimes including causing permanent disability, assault, and theft.
During the operation, several of the complainant's relatives threw stones at the officers in an attempt to prevent the arrests. The situation was brought under control, and those responsible for the assault, along with one of the convicts, were apprehended.(MENA)
