CAIRO, Feb 20 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty had a phone call on Thursday with his Croatian counterpart Gordan Grlić-Radman on outcome of fruitful visit of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to Egypt on February 17-19 that witnessed signing of a number of agreements to promote relations in the various economic, trade and cultural fields.
The two ministers lauded the outcome of the Egyptian-Croatian business forum that was inaugurated by the prime ministers of both countries.
They also discussed the importance of following up the on the implementation of the outcomes of the visit on the fields of energy, construction, building and transport, to guarantee achieving maximum benefit from available opportunities, with a view to deepening partnership between both countries.
The ministers also exchanged points of view on the latest developments in the Middle East and Europe, along with efforts exerted to promote security and stability in the region.
They tackled the situation in Gaza and the Croatian minister lauded Egyptian efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement between the Palestinians and the Israelis and deliver aid supplies into the Gaza Strip.
Abdelatty said Egypt continues drives to present comprehensive Egyptian plan to the reconstruction of Gaza. (MENA)
