President Sisi expressed his deep gratitude to the Spanish business community for its significant contribution to Egypt's economic development.

He stressed that the participation of major Spanish companies in key investment projects, particularly in infrastructure and transportation, marks a crucial step forward that should be further developed.

During a roundtable with Spanish business leaders and officials, President Sisi emphasized a key priority for Egypt: the localization of industries and increasing the domestic component across various sectors, including the fields in which Spanish companies are operating in Egypt.

He encouraged representatives of the business community and leaders of Spanish companies to seize the numerous investment opportunities in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, particularly in renewable and green energy sectors, with a focus on green hydrogen production.

He expressed his hope to establish a strategic partnership with Spain to meet the European Union's growing demand for green hydrogen.

The President also urged them to explore investment opportunities in sectors such as automotive manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and logistics, highlighting the strategic geographic and logistical advantages of the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

He emphasized the Suez Canal Economic Zone's potential as a hub for production and re-export to global markets, particularly those with which Egypt has free trade agreements.

President Sisi asserted Egypt's full openness to cooperation with Spanish investors interested in operating in the country, regardless of the form or structure of the cooperation.

"We are ready to explore opportunities for economic partnerships, particularly in productive sectors, as well as in areas such as small and medium-sized enterprises, energy, water desalination, agriculture, fish farming, fertilizers, textiles, marine docks, communications, and tourism," he stated.
