President Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to attracting more foreign investments, particularly from Spain.
Sisi outlined Egypt’s competitive advantages, including its strategic location, extensive infrastructure upgrades in the past decade, and well-developed transport networks.
The President also noted that Egypt has abundant natural resources, a skilled workforce, and government incentives for investors.
Additionally, he described Egypt as the region’s largest market and a gateway to African and Arab economies, supported by free trade agreements that facilitate exports and business expansion.
During the roundtable discussions with Spanish business leaders, Sisi welcomed the strong focus on economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and Spain.
He called for strengthening the Joint Business Council between the two countries to reflect their strategic partnership.
The President announced that the next council meeting will take place in Cairo in 2025, coinciding with the expected visit of the King of Spain to Egypt.
Sisi also expressed his support for holding an Egyptian-Spanish investment conference alongside the upcoming bilateral summit, to boost trade and position Egypt as a prime destination for Spanish investments. (MORE)
