CAIRO, Feb 4 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli affirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening digital infrastructure, advancing innovation, and expanding technology training programs to drive economic growth and attract global investment.

During his visit to the New Administrative Capital's Knowledge City, Madbouli reviewed government efforts in digital transformation, IT sector expansion, and preparing youth for future industries.

For his part, Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Amr Talaat highlighted the city’s role as a hub for research, innovation, and talent development, housing advanced training centers, AI and cybersecurity programs, and partnerships with global tech firms.

The city is home to Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), which offers degrees in engineering, computer science, business technology, and digital arts in collaboration with Purdue University, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Ottawa.

With over 6,000 trainees annually and 57 high-tech labs, Knowledge City supports AI research, IoT solutions, and electronic circuit design. (MENA)
