CAIRO, Jan 22 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi honored the names of police martyrs by awarding them the Order of the Republic and Medals of Merit during the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Police Day.

The president approved granting the Third Class Order of the Republic to the name of martyr Colonel Karim Yassin Shahata Abu Hamid, the Third Class Medal of Merit to the name of martyr Captain Mahmoud Gamal Farid Mahmoud, and the Fifth Class Medal of Merit to the name of martyr policeman Ihab Hamad Joudeh Ali Saad. The awards were received by their widows.

The president also approved granting the Fifth Class Medal of Merit to the name of martyr conscript Abdul Rahman Mohamed Abdul Bari Qasem. His father received the award. (MORE)
