CAIRO, Jan 18 (MENA) – Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik, accompanied by members of the Supreme Council of Police, visited the Abdeen Presidential Palace on Saturday to send a message of gratitude and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as part of the 2025 Police Day celebrations.

In his heartfelt address, Tawfik expressed deep pride in the leadership of President Sisi and commemorated the 73rd anniversary of the historic Ismailia Battle, a heroic event in Egypt's national struggle.

"This anniversary is a testament to the enduring values of honor and sacrifice, which continue to guide and inspire generations of police officers," he said.

The minister also reaffirmed the police force’s steadfast commitment to its duties, highlighting its role in confronting modern challenges and safeguarding national security.

"Under your wise leadership, the men and women of the police remain unwavering in their dedication to their sacred mission. They are ready to make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the safety of every citizen, maintaining Egypt as a beacon of security and stability," Tawfik added. (MENA)
