CAIRO, Jan 17 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador to Hungary Ahmed Fahmy presented on Friday his credentials to Hungarian President Tamás Sulyok in an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Budapest.

Following the ceremony, Sulyok received the Egyptian Ambassador, who conveyed greetings of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Hungarian President, government and people.

The Ambassador affirmed Egypt's keenness on continuing to bolster the strategic partnership between the two countries.

For his part, the Hungarian President entrusted the Egyptian Ambassador with conveying his greetings to Sisi, reiterating his country's appreciation for the leading role Egypt plays in supporting peace, security and stability regionally and internationally.

Additionally, he praised the distinguished level of bilateral relations in the economic, commercial, investment and industrial areas.

The Hungarian President reiterated his country's desire to strengthen its strategic relations with Egypt and to continue joint consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues of mutual interest. (MENA)
