CAIRO, Jan 14 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received State Secretary of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andžejs Viļumsons on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed ideas to deepen bilateral relations, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international issues, particularly the latest developments in Gaza, Syria and Ukraine.
Abdelatty praised the growing relations between Egypt and Latvia throughout the past period.
He voiced hope that political consultations, which are slated for Wednesday, between both countries would be fruitful.
Abdelatty also underscored the need to strengthen cooperation with Latvia for the digitization of the Egyptian health sector and training of health cadres. (MENA)
