CAIRO, Dec 25 (MENA) - Deputy Foreign Minister Nabil Habashi met Wednesday with students from the Philopateer Christain College (PCC) in Canada during their visit to Egypt.
The visit, organized in coordination with the PCC, aims to bolster relations with Egyptian expats of the second and third generations and foster their sense of identity and belonging.
Habashi posted the students on efforts to improve services offered to Egyptians abroad, particularly youth.
Young Egyptians do play a key role in supporting Egypt’s development, the diplomat acknowledged.
He encouraged the students to participate in the "Speak Arabic" initiative and praised the PCC for organizing annual visits that allow students to explore Egypt’s cultural and tourist landmarks, and learn about the country’s major national projects.
Habashi underscored Egypt’s commitment to engaging with its young expats and addressing their concerns to enhance their connection with their homeland. (MENA)
