CAIRO, Dec 19 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced on Thursday the endorsement of the joint statement about the situation in Palestine and Lebanon that was agreed upon during the ministers council meeting of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation on Wednesday.

President Sisi thanked ministers and negotiators for their tireless efforts in drafting the communique.

The president suggested that countries submit their written proposals to the secretariat of the summit to be examined thoroughly. If they were agreed by the presidency of the D-8 summit, they could be adopted in the upcoming meeting, he said. (MENA)
