Sisi directed that the deadline set for receiving applications for the targeted courses be extended for an additional week to give more opportunities to graduates wishing to join the training programs.

He said the academy is ready to accept over 2,000 university graduates or newcomers for each batch, highlighting the importance of coordinating with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and telecommunications companies to prepare graduates within an internal education system in such a manner that contributes to maximizing their potential by giving them the opportunity to enhance their language skills and other required abilities.

Sisi said training and language courses used to take four or five years, but in this track, the study will be intensified to take only two years during which students will learn new languages, such as English, French, German and more, in addition to their major area of study.

The State and the Armed Forces will implement this system for the benefit of university graduates who enjoy these talents and skills, taking into account the need to take the steadily growing number of potential enrollees.

“This year, we are expected to announce the admission of 2,000 to 2,500 students who will be tested and will receive a master's degree during a two-year study," President Sisi said, noting that graduates will also enjoy training and employment opportunities, which will be made available in partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the companies engaged in the ICT industry.

The president noted graduates from this course will have opportunities for high-paying jobs, earning between EGP 40,000 and EGP 60,000 per month, or even more. (MENA)
