CAIRO, Dec 11 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli reiterated on Wednesday Egypt's keenness on the integrity of Syrian territories, wishing the best for the Syrian brothers.

When institutions fall, it becomes difficult to restore them, Madbouli said at the press conference held following the cabinet weekly meeting.

Regarding President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's European tour, which included Denmark, Norway, and Ireland, the Prime Minister said the tour aims at strengthening economic relations and increasing investment flow from these countries to Egypt.

Among the achievements of the tour were the launch of the Egyptian-Danish Business Council and President Sisi’s encouragement of the Danish companies to invest in Egypt, particularly in priority sectors such as clean energy and green hydrogen.

Madbouli also referred to meetings in Norway with major companies, saying President Sisi witnessed the signing of several important agreements between the Norwegian and global companies for investments in new and renewable energy in Egypt.

He added that President Sisi invited major Norwegian companies and investment funds to invest in Egypt in the near future.

Regarding his visit to Qatar on behalf of President Sisi to attend the Doha Forum, he said he held positive meetings with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, of Qatar, the prime minister, the foreign minister. businessmen and members of the chambers of commerce in Qatar."

He promised that good news will be announced within the coming period as regards Qatari investments in Egypt. (MENA)
