Abdelatty said: "Our role is to provide all possible facilities and support to enable our Sudanese brethren to agree on a political solution within the framework of a civilian state with strong institutions."

The minister said Egypt hosted in July the first forum grouping all Sudanese political and civilian forces and it was a very important meeting, indicating Egypt's intention to host the second edition with the participation of all spectrums.

He pointed out that Egypt is ready to do anything that contributes to restoring stability to Sudan, stopping this war and stopping the bloodshed of the Sudanese people.

Regarding the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, Abdelatty said the Egyptian efforts will not stop, noting that Egypt is working sincerely to expedite reaching an immediate ceasefire, and to stop the brutal Israeli aggression that crossed all limits and exceeded all violations that have occurred in the past.

Egypt is working with Arab brothers, especially Qatar, and also with friendly countries such as the United States and others to quickly reach a ceasefire to stop the bloodshed of the Palestinians, he said. (MENA)
