CAIRO, Dec 3 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty said the Cairo Ministerial Conference to Enhance Humanitarian Response in Gaza, which kicked off Monday under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, was successful at all levels.

He told reporters that all participants lauded Sisi’s efforts to host the conference to support the Palestinian people.

Nearly 70% of humanitarian aid has been donated and delivered into the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, by the Egyptian government and people, he said.

The minister also shed light on the huge participation of foreign ministers at regional and international levels in the conference, as the participants pledged to provide significant aid for the Palestinian people.

The conference was held within the framework of Egypt's efforts to support the humanitarian response in Gaza and confront the humanitarian disaster suffered by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. (MENA)
