CAIRO, Nov 25 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued Decree No. 518 of 2024 on forming the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR) headed by Khaled Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Mahmoud.

Under the presidential decree, the council will include as members:

1- Abdel Salam Abdel Majeed Abdel Salam El Naggar - Vice President of the State Council.

2 - Mahmoud Ahmed Mumtaz - Head of the Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA).

3 - Hossam Abdel Mawla Saqr - representative of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA).

4 - Abdel Mohsen Salama Othman Seif El Din - public and experienced figure.

5 - Olaa Kamal El Sayed El Shafei - journalist.

6 - Essam El Amir Ismail Khalil - media figure.

7 - Adel Mohamed Ibrahim Hamouda - public and experienced figure.

8 - Mona Mohamed Saeed El Hadidi - representative of the Supreme Council of Universities.

The decree was published in the official gazette on Monday. (MENA)
