The ministers also held political consultations to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields and discussed pressing regional issues including the war in Gaza and Lebanon.

Abdelatty praised Bolivia’s stances on supporting the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Both sides reviewed efforts exerted to back Egypt and Bolivia to get the membership of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Abdelatty added that he also discussed with Sosa the negative impacts of climate change on both Egypt and Bolivia. (MENA)
