CAIRO, Nov 23 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, has praised the special relations between Egypt and Bolivia, noting that Cairo works on strengthening such ties.

The minister’s remarks came on Saturday during a press conference with his Bolivian counterpart Celinda Sosa, who is currently on a visit to Cairo.

This year marks the 64th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Bolivia and the 200th anniversary of Bolivia’s independence, Abdelatty said.

They reviewed several issues of mutual interest, particularly ways to cement bilateral relations.

Sosa conveyed the greetings of the Bolivian president to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, while Abdelatty sent the greetings of Sisi to the Bolivian leader.

They also discussed ways to foster economic, trade, cultural and tourism cooperation between both countries. (MORE)
