CAIRO/ASSIUT, Nov 22 (MENA) - Deputy Foreign Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Nabil Habashi and Assiut Governor Hisham Abu el Nasr on Friday attended a training program co-organized by the ministries of foreign affairs and education, as well as the World Food Program (WFP) to qualify cadres for raising awareness about the risks of illegal migration.
The deputy foreign minister's visit to Assiut governorate is part of the presidential initiative "Survival Boats" that aims to combat the phenomenon of illegal migration nationwide.
Habashi and Abu el Nasr delivered speeches, during which they stressed the importance of increasing awareness of the dangers of illegal immigration and the role of the Ministry of Education in this regard. (MENA)
