CAIRO, Nov 19 (MENA) – The House of Representatives gave a final approval during its general session on Tuesday on a bill filed by the government on issuing a law on foreign refugees.

The bill is meant to lay down a legal regulation of refugees’ conditions, rights and commitments under the rights and commitments stipulated in international agreements which Egypt has joined.

Under the bill, a permanent committee for refugees’ affairs will be formed to be in charge of all refugees’ affairs.

Child refugees will have the right to basic education and the certificates granted to refugees will be recognized.

Under the bill, refugees are committed to respecting the Egyptian constitution and laws. (MENA)
