RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov 18 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had separate meetings with some world leaders on the sidelines of the G20 summit, taking place on November 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The president's meetings included Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Sisi also met French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel, and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
The meetings tackled the latest developments in pressing regional as well as international issues, according to a statement by the Egyptian Presidency spokesperson. (MENA)
