CAIRO, Sept 19 (MENA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates said it is closely following up on a road accident that took place in Libya’s Derna, leaving a number of Egyptians dead and injured on Wednesday.

Spokesman for the ministry Tamim Khallaf said Thursday Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty has directed the Consulate General in Benghazi to maintain contacts with the local authorities in Libya to provide all forms of necessary support for the victims and finalize procedures required to transport the bodies of the dead Egyptians back home.

The ministry offered its sincerest condolences to the families of the victims. (MENA)
