CAIRO, July 1 (MENA) - European Union Ambassador in Cairo Christian Berger lauded on Monday measures taken by the Egyptian government to enhance financial and monetary stability and investment in the country.

This came during a meeting between Berger and Chairman of Egyptian Radio Mohamed Nawar at Maspero Radio and Television Building.

Berger also praised the economic reforms implemented by Egypt, expecting they would strengthen investor confidence in the Egyptian market and encourage European investors to invest in Egypt in various areas, including new and renewable energy.

Berger stressed that the EU is keen on strengthening its strategic and comprehensive partnership with Egypt in various fields.

He emphasized that the EU and Egypt will continue to boost their bilateral strategic partnership based on mutual trust and enhance their cooperation in important avenues, including trade, energy, migration and labor training. (MENA)
