CAIRO, June 27 (MENA) - Banque Misr has signed a cooperation protocol with Raya Data Center to support "Teqdar" (You Can) program to accelerate the growth of start-ups.

Under the agreement, Raya Data Center will cooperate with the bank's Innovation and Strategic Projects Sector in providing various services, such as data center hosting platforms, cybersecurity and support, and marketing activities designed to meet the requirements of emerging companies involved in the "Teqdar" program, according to a statement released by Banque Misr on Thursday.

The bank stated that "Teqdar" program is dedicated to providing the technical and financial support for start-ups for six months, through assisting them in getting access to a vast customer base, directly communicating with specialized experts and benefiting from strategic partnerships in different sectors.

Head of Banque Misr's Innovation and Strategic Projects Sector Mohamed Elsabban said the protocol comes as part of the bank's role in backing entrepreneurs and emerging companies amid the current global conditions that greatly affect the economies of countries.

On his part, CEO of Raya Information Technology Hesham Abdel Rassoul expressed appreciation of cooperation with Banque Misr as a strategic partner for digital innovation.

Rassoul said Raya Information Technology is committed to offering the latest technological solutions that enhance the efficiency of banking operations, meet customer needs with the highest level of quality, and provide full support to emerging companies under the umbrella of the "Teqdar" program.
