It is not strange at all, Abu-Zeid said in statements to Aljazeera Mubasher Misr channel, seeing the establishment of the Renaissance Dam a more dangerous step Egypt should worry about given the negative impact this will have on the downstream countries. He urged the Egyptian government to act immediately before it is too late. Addis Ababa Monday announced it is diverting the Blue Nile course as a prior step to actually building the dam. (MENA) MA/AS
