CAIRO, July 15 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Tuesday reviewed a report presented by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat on the progress of post offices designated to provide notary services for citizens nationwide.

Madbouli stressed that the government attaches high priority to the digitization of public services and is closely following up on the file, with the aim of delivering faster, easier, and higher-quality services across all sectors.

For his part, Talaat said the Communications Ministry is making significant strides to streamline services for citizens, emphasizing its vision to modernize Egypt Post, increase its branches, and expand its offerings in line with the Digital Egypt strategy to boost citizen satisfaction.

The minister added that coordination has been made with the Justice Ministry to provide notarization services at Egypt Post branches across the country.

He pointed out that 126 postal branches are currently offering these services, geographically distributed throughout Egypt, with around 3,649,685 notarization transactions carried out since the service was launched until the end of May 2025. (MENA)
