CAIRO, July 9 (MENA) - The cabinet - under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli - approved during a meeting Wednesday a number of important decisions.

The cabinet agreed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will be signed by Egypt's Ministry of Justice and its Somali counterpart with an aim to strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries in legal and constitutional affairs .

The cabinet also reviewed the progress of reallocating vacated government buildings following the transition to the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

Furthermore, the cabinet agreed on changing the land use of two plots totaling approximately 190.1 feddans in Wadi El-Natrun, from reclamation and cultivation to logistics services (a logistic zone and a dry port).

This move supports the Ministry of Transport's plan to strengthen food industry supply chains.

The decision aligns with presidential directives to transform Egypt into a regional hub for transport and logistics, transit trade, and global commerce.

The goal is to boost trade volumes and maximize transit traffic through logistics corridors and dry and land ports. (MENA)
