CAIRO, May 26 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said Egypt looks forward to continuing joint work with all EU institutions, including the European Parliament, to support the existing comprehensive strategic partnership between the two sides.

Abdelatty made the comments during his meeting on Monday with members of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with the Mashreq countries, headed by Laurent Castillo.

The foreign minister highlighted the European Parliament's important role in carrying out the six pillars of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and the EU that include political relations, economic stability, investment and trade, migration and mobility, security and demography.

Abdelatty briefed the European Parliament delegation on Egypt's stance towards the crises in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan and Libya that affect security and stability in the Middle East and Europe. (MENA)
