CAIRO, May 20 (MENA) - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production General Abdel Meguid Saqr witnessed the implementation of the main phase of the tactical command centers project for the Western Military Region, which lasted for several days as part of the combat training plan for the formations and units of the Armed Forces .
The event was attended by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. General Ahmed Khalifa, heads of the main branches and a number of other military commanders.
Commander of the Western Military Region Major General Hatem Mustafa Zahran delivered a speech in which he emphasized the commitment of the fighters in the Western Military Region to reach the highest levels of combat readiness.
He affirmed that this readiness enables them to accomplish all the tasks assigned to them in defending the nation's security and the integrity of its territories, no matter the sacrifices required.
Saqr discussed with a number of commanders and officers participating in the project their approach to executing their tasks and how they make decisions to address emerging changes during the management of operations.
Saqr emphasized that the Armed Forces are working tirelessly to maintain their combat systems, weapons, and equipment while enhancing their performance to ensure they are capable of carrying out all assigned tasks with efficiency and competence.
He also praised the outstanding performance of the forces executing the project, highlighting the important role played by the fighters of the Western Military Region in protecting the western strategic direction against all threats. (MENA)
