CAIRO, May 13 (MENA) – The global economy system, under which world countries worked over the past 80 years, is currently being reshaped, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said.

The premier’s remarks came Tuesday during his recorded address to the second edition of the annual academic conference the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center. The event is held under the title "Structural and Institutional Reforms in Egypt: The Road to Sustainable Growth."

The conference, organized in cooperation with Cairo University’s Faculty of Economics and Political Science, is convened under the patronage of Madbouli and supervised by Cairo University President Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek in the New Administrative Capital.

The global economy is set to enter a new era, whose economic aspects are still unclear, he said.

Madbouli also said the conference could contribute to backing Egypt’s efforts on adopting economic policies to help overcome challenges facing national economic growth. (MENA)
