CAIRO, May 8 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the State pays great attention to the health sector, as it does its utmost to provide all necessary resources for developing the existing medical institutions and building new ones to offer quality medical services to citizens nationwide.
Madbouli made the remarks, while he was inspecting Tanta Fever Hospital, as part of his tour of Gharbia governorate on Thursday.
On his part, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said Tanta Fever Hospital is specialized in treating fever, gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
Abdel Ghaffar stated the hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and testing devices, which clearly contributes to alleviating the burden on citizens in the northern Egyptian governorate.
The health minister noted the nine-floor hospital was established in 2016 and became operational by the end of 2024.
Abdel Ghaffar indicated the hospital contains 72 inpatient beds, 21 intensive care beds, 4 operating rooms, 8 outpatient clinics, and 12 dialysis machines. (MENA)
